One of the best-known dives on the Argentario coast, as fascinating on the surface as it is underwater.
From the mooring point you can admire the Grotta dei Santi, which gives its name to the cove with its stalactites and stalagmites, and famous for the discovery inside of traces left by the Neanderthal man. The walk inside the cave is interesting.
Under water, just follow a landslide of boulders to meet the first yellow gorgonians a few meters deep, and then come across the red, luxuriant ones, which are home to various astrospartus. Numerous lobsters, moray eels, octopuses, conger eels, and around which barracudas are often sighted; finally there is the red coral, as precious as it is delicate, which can be seen at shallow depths in many points of the Argentario coast.
