Punta Secca

Punta Secca is located close to one of the parts of the park of Giannutri Island where it is forbidden to enter; it is possible to meet snappers and barracudas in shallow water, but also moray eels and groupers. Going deeper you find a beautiful wall full of red gorgonians, perfect shelter for lobsters and scorpio fishes.
- Tech
Once you reach the red gorgonians that cover the deeper part of the wall, you can continue until you find a rockfall, house for many incredible species: lytocarpia and pennatula among all. In this area it can also happen to find unique wonderful fishes, such as John Dory (Zeus Faber) but also the Sunfish. While coming back to the surface it is possible to find some snappers, barracudas and grouper.
