FAQ
All the things to know before attending your first diving course.
Do my ears hurt underwater?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions! Probably you too have gone down a few meters underwater to chase a fish or observe a starfish and have pain in your ears.
Know that it's absolutely normal if you don't know how to compensate!
When you dive for the first time, the instructor will explain how to compensate for your ears or rather how to compensate for the pressure of the water that pushes on your ears, a bit like when you take a plane. When you go down with the tanks you will have plenty of time to do this operation.
Underwater it feels like I'm out of breath. How can I do?
Indeed… there is no air under water! But I guarantee that we have arranged to solve this problem! However, it can happen to those who dive for the first time to be afraid of feeling oppressed. It’s actually not like that! Going down with us, you will be able to experience the thrill of exploring a world full of light and colour, surrounded by fish and surrounded by seabeds full of life.
Do I need to be trained to dive?
Let’s say that keeping fit is always good, but to go diving you don’t necessarily have to spend hours in the gym every day! The use of the tank greatly facilitates our stay in the water and allows us to make beautiful dives without having to give up a good dish of pasta on the boat!
There might be sharks?
The fear of sharks is quite common, but let’s face it: when a student asks us if there are sharks in our sea, the answer is always the same: “WE WISH!”
The lucky ones who have traveled the world to dive have experienced the thrill of swimming among sharks of all kinds, but the reality is that in the Mediterranean it is not easy to be able to even glimpse them… and if that happens, the scenario would be very unlike that of Spielberg’s most terrible films
Don’t take us for crazy, but sharks like all other inhabitants of the sea are fascinating creatures!
I have a health problem, can I dive anyway?
It is often said that diving is a sport for everyone. It is true, with the right precautions, everyone (or almost) can dive! The goal is FUN, but SAFETY above all. If necessary, we can recommend professional doctors who can evaluate your situation and show you the path to follow to reach your goal safely.
Do I have to buy all the equipment if I want to dive?
It is not true! Here you can find everything you need for your first dive, but also ALL THE EQUIPMENT for your first course, and it’s included in the price. Not only! When you are certified you can rent everything, from the mask to the computer! And you can also test the equipment in the water before buying it.
Is diving expensive?
It often happens that you go out “just for an aperitif” with friends and also stay out for dinner and you realize that you have spent a hundred euros as if nothing had happened… Well, try to think if three or four of those evenings were a course sub! I assure you that in the end the cost is the same, but in addition you will have found a group of people with whom to start a wonderful adventure! But above all take advantage of our promotions!
