The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty teaches you how to safely dive beyond no-decompression limits.

You’ll learn how to effectively use your dive computer’s functions, including gas switching, gas integration and ascent time. We’ll teach you the proper techniques to plan and manage dives to a maximum of 40 meters for a maximum accumulated decompression time of 15 minutes based on a back gas profile.
Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites using a decompression tank up to 40% Nitrox.
To get the certification you need to have the Deep Diver and the Enriched Air Nitrox 40 SSI certifications or an equivalent from a recognized training agency.
